The Wallflower Collective

Initially ideated to be a book club, The Wallflower Collective is an upcoming literary and arts magazine. Poetry, fiction, essays, letters, personal essays, diaries - art is constantly evolving and I'd like for young writers to be able showcase this journey. Like my initial idea for this creation, I wanted to create a platform for young writers to be actively and creatively engaged, elevate their voices to share issues that matter and inspire change, as well as encourage the appreciation for literature and art.

What is "The Wallflower Collective"?

The Wallflower Collective is an upcoming online (and hopefully soon to be print!) literary and arts magazine. The idea started as a book club where I wanted to encourage others to read books and engage in discussion in a unique and creative way; but I wanted to expand it something more. With the aesthetics of language and visual arts, we at the Collective want to inspire our readers the same way books have done and continue to do - share ideas, tell stories, start discussions, encourage change.

  1. Hi there Nicole! I love your blog, and had a question about The Wallflower Collective. Is it going to be like a collaborative blog? Or is it going to be a magazine? Thinking about submitting something to it. :)
    Thanks so much!

    1. Hello Isabella,

Thank you for your question! It is going to be an online magazine - so think of adolescent.net or lithiummagazine.com and so forth.
